Allison Cara Tolman, an American actor from the United States. Her nominations for Emmys and Golden Globes for her performance as Molly Solverson on the FX show Fargo's debut season. The early years of her life and schooling Tolman had two brothers and a sister. The family moved out of England into Sugar Land, Texas, when she was a baby. Clements High School is where she attended and was able to graduate in 2000. She graduated in 2000 from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in theatrical performance. Following her graduation, she relocated to Dallas which is where she started the Second Thought Theatre. The actress relocated to Chicago in 2009 to study at The Second City Training Center for a course in acting. Tolman began her career in 2014. She appeared on FX criminal comedy Fargo's initial season. Fargo is a film starring veterans like Billy Bob Thornton Martin Freeman Bob Odenkirk. The movie was inspired by the Coen brothers' film of identical title. Tolman was praised for her performance as the character of Minnesota Police officer Molly Solverson. Vanity Fair said that Tolman was "calmly assuredly stolen the entire show". Critics' Choice Television Award, Best Supporting Actress (Movie/Miniseries) and Golden Globe awards were given to Tolman for her performance. Tolman's role as a guest on The Mindy Project as romance writer Abby Berman for two episodes that premiered on the same day. In 2015, she was the role of a support on Michael Dougherty s comedy horror film Krampus. Tolman's breakthrough role in the film in the role of Fargo was the reason she decided to leave numerous supporting roles, including mother roles and best friends, wives and husbands. Tolman was searching for new roles that were more unusual. Tolman was a part of ABC's Downward Dog based off the Animal Media Group webseries. The show lasted for one year. Tolman was a part of ABC's Emergence drama which premiered on September 24, 2019, but was cancelled by ABC after one year at the 21st of May in 2020 even though Tolman tweeting that the show's ratings were "pretty decent". She was also a guest star on NBC's Good Girls. She starred in 2021 as Alma Filcott on the second season of Why Women Kill and Natalie Green in the book in the Facts of Life, of Live in Front of a Studio Audience, third edition.
